The land mentioned in these documents was either acquired by Green-Wood through foreclosure or were deeded to the cemetery transferring ownership. The majority of deeds are relative to land bordering Green-Wood and was purchased in the event of the cemetery expanding.

- Documents in this box pertain to the Coudert Brothers. The Coudert Bros. Law Firm was founded in 1853 by the sons (Frederic R. Coudert Sr., Charles Coudert Jr., and Louis Leonce Coudert) of Charles Coudert Sr. The law firm was famous for their historical and international cases. They represented investors in the building of the Panama Canal and played an important role in the appeal of Selden Patent Case, to end Ford Motor's monopoly. Documents in this series were originally held in a correspondence envelope from the law firm and included a title search, warranty deed, deeds from the property bordering the Coudert Bros., and 2 maps of Green-Wood Cemetery property.
