Abstract

This series contains burial orders for baseball players interred at Green-Wood Cemetery.

Scope and Contents of the Materials

This series contains burial orders for baseball players interred at Green-Wood Cemetery. Most of the records have information about the operations of the cemetery in relation to these players’ family plots and monument, though there are also documents containing biographical information about the players. Some documents may contain signatures of baseball players. The documents are aged and in varying condition, and have been stored under mylar sheets. Included in these files are photocopies of information about baseball players and their families, taken from books that used this collection as a reference source.
