Collection Overview
Scope and Contents of the Materials
This collection compiles newspaper clippings, documents, and five albums from 1941 to today mostly all relating to Green-Wood Cemetery. They span a range of topics which was separated into five series in five boxes. Each series has sub-series contained in individual folders. They are mostly in good condition with minor physical damage, such as minor tears, creases, and discoloration. Additionally, some are taped into albums or stapled together which can lead to further potential damage.

- Series 2: General Clippings

- Series 2, labelled general, consists of ten sub-series loosely related to the grounds and operation of Green-Wood Cemetery. The sub-series cover topics that include the landmark status of the cemetery, buildings on the grounds, potential area development , the entrance gates, the monuments and grounds of the cemetery, wildlife, vandalism, and the historical events that took place on the grounds such as the 1959 drowning and the Battle of Brooklyn during the Revolutionary War.
