Title: Superintendent's Labor Accounts, 1885-1908

Arrangement
This series consists of four volumes that are arranged chronologically, dating from 1885 to 1908. Each volume includes an index and is arranged into two subjects: laborers and contractors. These subjects are then arranged alphabetically by last name or company title. Within each cover board's verso were documents that have been removed and stored in folders that precede the volume. Each volume and its associated contents are stored in oversize boxes.
Abstract
The Superintendent's Labor Accounts consist of four bound, manuscript volumes of detailed records that document the employee and contractor labor expenses at Green-Wood Cemetery from 1885 to 1891 and 1894 to 1908. Each volume contains tables that provide an account of the nature of the labor, compensation for the work, people or companies involved, materials used in maintenance or construction, and the reason that work was required.
