Collection Overview
Scope and Contents of the Materials
The Lot Owner Index Cards are made up of typewritten index cards containing the name, heirship information, and the lot and section numbers associated with each owner. Some cards contain additional information such as addresses and notes on the care of the lots. Although the cards are undated, they represent the type of operational records Green-Wood Cemetery used before computer technology became common. The informational content overlaps with other record groups, but may be used to ascertain the specific lot number associated with a family name.
